enfermo con la pesca del lucio.
I have been sick in the last 2 years about
pike fishing.
Tengo que decir que no era un pez que me
llamara especialmente la atención, de hecho me resultaba problemático
manipularlos y no iba nunca expresamente a por ellos, si no que se trataban de
capturas accidentales mientras pescaba al bass.
I have to say it was not a fish that
particularly caught my attention, in fact it was problematic to manipulate and
I never came expressly for them, they were accidentally catches, fishing for
LMB.
Todo cambió en Agosto de 2013, cuando nos
fuimos a pasar unos días al embalse extremeño de Cijara, con el objetivo
de hacernos con algún lucio de porte, y acompañados por los guías más
experimentados de la zona, Roberto murillo y Fco Javier, de Guadiana Boats.
Everything changed in August 2013 when we
went out for a few days to Cijara, a spanish reservoir located in Extremadura,
with the aim of catching a good pike. We were accompanied by Roberto Murillo
and Francisco Javier, from the guiding Company Guadiana Boats,
2 of the most experinced guides of the area.
Iré al grano, 14 lucios de más de un metro
en tan solo 2 jornadas, entre 2 personas. Números que se asocian más a un lago
canadiense que a un pantano español…
Let’s get to the point, 14 pike over a meter
in just days, between 2 anglers. Numbers that are more associated with a
Canadian lake than a Spanish damn ...
Tuvimos la suerte de grabar las 2 jornadas
que pasamos en el agua, ¡y el resultado es increíble! Picadas en directo, cañas
volando por los aires, peces monstruosos, comida espectacular, compañía
inmejorable… Y muchas lecciones aprendidas.
We were lucky to be shooting during the
two days we spent in the water, and the result is awesome! Live viles,
flying rods through the air, monstrous fish, great food, excellent
company ... and many lessons learned.
El Equipo que utilizamos: Revo Toro NacL
51, Penn Spinfisher, Penn Battle 4000, trenzado Spiderwire, fluorocarbono
Berkley y señuelos Sebile. 90% de las capturas con el Flatt Shad 96 y 124, y el
resto AT minnow y Stick Shad.
About the tackle we used: Revo Toro NacL
51, Penn Spinfisher, Penn Battle 4000, Spiderwire braid, Berkley fluorocarbon
and Sebile lures. 90% of the fish were caught with the Flatt Shad 96 and 124,
and the left with AT minnow and Stick Shad.

Estamos ya trabajando en la edición del
documental, que se emitirá en el canal de TV Caza y Pesca. Con este proyecto
comenzamos nuestra andadura en solitario, bajo el nombre de Lunker Productions.
We are already editing the
documentary, to be broadcast on the spanish TV channel Caza y Pesca This
project started our solo career under the name Lunker Productions.
